2010 sees Crazy Creations take to the great outdoors and set up in beautiful surroundings of primrose Hill, Haslemere, courtesy of the owner Rob McQueen.
Glen sets up his tightrope & Sarah puts up the dome to improve it and add an entrance arch and the wigwam is created, plenty of evenings cooking over the open fire and good company!
Illicit’s 1st weekender in the picturesque grounds of Headley Park hotel’s is the Dragon’s 1st outing of the year and the lantern procession and following fire show are a great success.
9th year of FISH workshops & 3rd year running Weyfest’s Kidzone, with the practically perfect performance of the fabulously funny
Midsummernight’s Scream
Players ranged in age from 4yrs to 60yrs plus and what a marvellous mix of talent and  energy. New members of the team this yr included Callum Lynch Strachen: free runner & acrobat, Hannah Cadec; professional dancer, Franciska Waskiewicz; painter, multi-media artist, the amazing Mann brothers, Rob & Arran; jugglers & poi artists and Bridie Dean-Bunting, Celia Bennett, Emily Lloyd-Jones & little Grace Howard; actresses.  Also a big thank-you to Alice who has been coming along to the Crazy Creations workshops for the past three years at weyfest for all her positive input and energy, all the young people who came and learned their lines, rehearsed and acted so well, and to Venice for making the Tu-tus.















TWO THOUSAND AND NINE


Glen as Zebraman walks the slack rope at Farnham’s spring fair, Crazy Creations hosts two weeks of exciting art and drama workshops in Haslemere during Surrey Artists Open Studios fortnight. Community workshops include working with a residential home for adults with learning disabilities in Haslemere & after school clubs at St Bartholemews school, Haslemere. Weyfest Kidzone yr2, where the multicoloured dome installation gets it’s 1st outing. New members of the team included Venice Synnott-textile artist and youth development officer, Alma-visual artist & Alex.

Crazy Creations run the Kidzone at Weyfest for the 1st time! Sarah, with her talented team of visual artists and Yvette, and her tremendous troupe of performance artists combine forces to provide a spectacle not to be missed! Art, and drama workshops culminating in a talent show and a lantern procession. New members of the team include performance artists; Janet king, Jane, Steve, and a big thank you to  Helena Bennett-textile queen, Harry Brown, Lucas Bennett, Harrison bennett, Mitch Bryant, Kay Crompton, Wizzy, Hannah & Patrick who all gave their time and energy to making it a success despite the dismal weather!

Crazy Creations artists start to work with Park Barn Youth CafĂ©, Guildford and 40 Degreez youth project, (Surrey County Council), Farnham, providing art and circus skills activities. Creations facilitate lantern procession for the Barn Art Collective in Farnham.



TWO THOUSAND AND SIX

























Putting her newly learned skills to good use, Sarah collaborated with Glen, Jasmin and Pete Ockenden (a skilled Lockwood artist and graphic designer based in Guildford). Together they created a giant Dragonfly installation with a 30ft wingspan & with lots of invaluable input from the wonderful users of the Lockwood; a swarm of enormous winged beasts! All were exhibited  at lockwood, in the hanger-like space above the workshop area in the Summer Art Expo, in conjunction with Surrey Artists open studios. and Glen attend carnival costume and processional structure training plus cats course, designed to encourage artists to access funding for community projects.
